I was in the Ga. Air National Guard from May, 1975 thru May

Customer Question

I was in the Ga. Air National Guard from May, 1975 thru May of 1984. I received an Honorable discharge in May of 1984. Am I eligible for any medical benefits or any other benefits now or at retirement age? Thank You for your time.

Possibly. If you have any service connected injuries or illnesses, you may be eligible for disability pay from the VA.

If you believe you might, you can apply through the VA for benefits. They will assess your claim, and determine a disability rating which will be used to pay you benefits if they determine you have a service connected injury or illness.

Thank you for your service.
