To get started, I need to know what type of computer you are using, a Windows XP, Vista, Windows 7, Windows 8, Windows 10?

When you put in the password ***** to many times, do you see a message there and your email/account or just password ***** over and over?

Click this link, click sign and enter your email you are locked out of. Then hit forgot password. Enter the last password ***** remember. (use the email attached to your pc/microsoft account)

I'm sorry about the issue. I'm another tech; I will help you with this. I do live online support.

Solution #1:

- If there is an email address showing at the problematic computer's login screen, then please try the following fix:

1. On another working computer or device, click on the website below:

https://account.live.com/ResetPassword.aspx

2. Then there, select the option "I forgot my password", then click on Next at the bottom.

3. Then in the first box, type in the email address as shown on the problematic computer's screen.

4. Then in the second box, type in the characters as shown on the page.

5. Then click on Next at the bottom. Then follow the instructions there in order to reset your Microsoft account password.

6. If successful, then try the password ***** the problematic computer, and see if it works.

- If it does not work, or if there is no email address showing on the problematic computer's login screen, then please try the next solution below:

Solution #2:

  1. At the password ***** login screen, press and keep holding the Shift key on the keyboard.
  2. Click on the Power icon at the bottom right of the computer's screen, then click on the option Restart while still holding the Shift key.
  3. When a menu appears, then you can release the Shift key.
  4. When prompted, click on the Troubleshoot option.
  5. Then select the option Reset PC, and continue.
  6. When prompted, select the option "Removing everything", if available, and "Just remove files.", and continue.

Solution #3:

- If that does not work, please try:

  1. At the password ***** login screen, click on the Ease of Access icon at the bottom; it looks like a timer icon.
  2. Click on the On-Screen Keyboard option.
  3. Click on the Shift key option at the left of the On-Screen Keyboard on the computer's screen.
  4. Click on the Power icon at the bottom right of the computer's screen, then click on the option Restart.
  5. When prompted, click on the Troubleshoot option.
  6. Then select the option Reset PC, and continue.
  7. When prompted, select the option "Removing everything", if available, and "Just remove files.", and continue.

- Does any of the solutions above work? If no, is there any error or message, or are you stuck at any step? Does your Asus computer have Windows 7, or 8 or 10, etc.? Do you also have another working Windows computer?
