I have Microsoft office...

I have Microsoft office on my mac. I have just done an update and can no longer work on "word" as it says I need to activate my account. I have tried to do this twice with no success. I have office 365 personal.

Technician's Assistant: When did you last change your password ***** Apple ID?

I change my password ***** the weekend when I wanted to download the receipt emailed to me by Microsoft.

Technician's Assistant: Did you try resetting through Apple's online account reset tool?

Not sure I know how to do that!!!

Technician's Assistant: Anything else you want the Mac Expert to know before I connect you?

No. I just want to be able to work on my word document! Thank you

Sorry Hess but I am finding it all rather stressful. I have arranged for a home visit today from a local IT help firm so no longer need your assistance. Can you please arrange the refund if the $5 to my account
