I paid for a renewal of MS Office 2016 this week and

I paid for a...

I paid for a renewal of MS Office 2016 this week and downloaded it correctly. Now I am getting emails from Microsoft saying my account has expired and when I go online trying to get this to work properly - I keep getting "your account has expired". All my previous works on Office from the past show up when I try to connect with the Office 365 I paid for in the past. I need the new Office program recognize me and allow me to get into the programs I paid for this week. I also need to be sure doing this will erase the work I have saved from my usage of the previous Office/.

My phone number should be on Microsofts records because I have had this phone number for 6 years.
