Word documents frequently close with message, "Word has run into erro preventing it from working correctly." I have both Office 2016 and Office 365 on my Samsung computer. Could they be interfering with each other?

There is good possibility for conflicts if multiple versions of office is installed on the computer so i recommend you remove one version and then do a repair installation on the installed version.

Which version of windows is installed in the PC.Is it Windows 7, windows 8, Windows 10?

Samsung PC came with Windows 10 but I'm not sure it is still on computer after installing Office 2016.
