I am trying to load Norton update on my computer but I need admin privileges. I can't install without them. I put the admin password ***** my computer many years ago and I can't find the password.

to install any application or software you need to have admin privilege on the user account login to windows

then its automatically admin you dont need special privilege to run the updates. How are you running the norton update?

download from Norton. When I start the install it asks for admin password ***** I put on years ago and never used again

dont run the file directly from the download link try to download and save it once the download is complete right click on the norton file and select run as administrator then it will install without any problem.
