Hello Pearl: I just upgraded my Mac Operating System, only to be told I can't use my current version of Microsoft Outlook. I have a subscription to Office 365 Home Premium. How do I get a version of Outlook that will work?

Technician's Assistant: Just to clarify, what's the model of your Mac, and what operating system are you running?

It's a MacBook Pro (Retina, 13-inch, Early 2015), operating on High Sierra 10.13.1

Technician's Assistant: When did you purchase your Apple? What troubleshooting have you tried?

October 20, 2016 is the purchase date. Didn't troubleshoot. The problem is clearly stated in a window that pops up when I try to open Outlook. The version I have, it says, will not work with this High Sierra Operating System that I just installed.

Technician's Assistant: Anything else you want the Microsoft Office Expert to know before I connect you?

No. Doesn't my subscription to Office cover this? Is there a version of Outlook that will work with High Sierra? Why do I have to pay when I have a subscription to Office 365?

Follow these steps please.
Open Microsoft Word, Excel, or another Microsoft application.
Select “Help” > “Check for updates“.
If you don’t see this option, or if you don’t have an option to update. install Auto Update. >>CLICK HERE<<
Walk through the wizard to update Microsoft Applications. You will be able to upgrade Microsoft Outlook.
Once updates are complete, Microsoft Outlook will work in MacOS High Sierra
