All of a sudden, when I try to save a document in Word

Customer Question

All of a sudden, when I try to save a document in Word (2013) I receive an error message - Word not responding.
JA: Just to clarify, what's the make and model of your computer? And what version of Word are you using?
Customer: It's a Lenovo using Windows 10 and Office 2013
JA: Have you installed any updates recently?
Customer: The last Windows update was installed about 2 weeks ago. After the update Word was functioning properly. After I encountered this problem today I checked and ran an Office update. That did not solve the problem.
JA: Anything else you want the Microsoft Office expert to know before I connect you?
Customer: All other Office products, Excel, Outlook are working correctly.

Hello,

After running the Office update, was there any evident changes as far as the issue goes?

Okay, let's try another option.

Please, follow the instructions below:
- Hold down the two following keys at the same time: Windows key and the letter R
- In the box that comes up, type: appwiz.cpL
- Click the Ok button.
- Locate the Office/Word Application's listing and click to select it
- Click the Change button
- Choose to run the Full Repair Option.

- After the repair option is complete, test to make sure that it works.

Did that help?
