My iPhone crashed and when I got it restored at the Apple

Customer Question

My iPhone crashed and when I got it restored at the Apple Store, it hadn't saved one of my excel files for over a month. Or perhaps, I should say, the I now have is one from almost 2 months ago.
can I restore the file from just before the crash??

Or maybe just before the restoration of the phone from the crash

Ok, so you mean there may be a recent backup of the iPhone in itunes made at the time before this crash happened?

ok, then you will need to restore the backup into the iPhone which will return the phone to how it was at that date.

To do this, connect the iPhone to the computer and open itunes

Then click on the iPhone when it appears

Select Restore Backup in iTunes

Choose the date and complete the restore from the backup and if the file is in the backup it will then be added back to the phone.
