Hello & Welcome,

Sorry to hear of any trouble you may be having with your document.

May I ask what version of Word you are using?

Can I safely assume that these paragraph symbols are ONLY showing on the screen, and do NOT appear when any particular page of the document is printed?

If this is a relatively current version of Word, there should be a Paragraph symbol on the Ribbon" of the Home tab of the program.

To make the symbols appear or disappear, simply click on the Paragraph symbol on the ribbon, which should toggle those symbols OFF or ON.

Please give that a try and let me know what you see.

Thanks, ***** *****
