The replacement TN 580 toner cartridge Brother HL 5280

Customer Question

The replacement TN 580 toner cartridge for my Brother HL 5280 DW printer is VERY difficult to insert. I don't want to break either the drum unit or the toner cartridge by forcing anything. What are the tricks, landmarks, angles, amount of force necessary to get it in p[lace without breaking it? Are there diagrams available which are more detailed than the terrible ones that are in the owner's manual?

Hello. My name is, Mike. I'd like to try and assist you with your issue. Below I have provided a link to instructions on how to remove the toner cartridges for the HL-5200 series printers. Please make special note of page two where it identifies specific tabs that you have to press to release the cartridge. http://solutions.brother.com/Library/pdf/pdf-5200/hl5200_tn_eng.pdf I hope this helps.
