My daughter has created a slide show using Power Point 2010.

My daughter has created a slide show using Power Point 2010. She's trying to insert a sound file to no avail. When she inserts the file, all she gets is a speaker image but not the sound bar that's supposed to be below it. The sound file is a standard MP3 and will play on Windows Media Player. I think the problem may be with the PP file itself. She created the presentation in PP 2010, but when I check the file properties it shows the file as being a PP 97-2003 running in Compatibility Mode. Can you help me figure this out?
Thank you for your question, my name is Richard.

Can you open the Power point file.

Then choose Save As.

Make sure to choose file type

Save this, then try to insert a MP3

Let me know the results please

Thank you

I'm having trouble finding where you save as file type. I only get the file name when a do a save as.

You click File, Save As

Then Save As Type

I can convert it for you if you wish.

- Click the following link:
- Upload the file to that website
- Once it is uploaded, the resulting page will display a "File ID" number.
- Please, give me that "File ID Number"
