from one excel sheet I want to replace data to other sheet

This answer was rated:

from one excel sheet I want to replace data to other sheet applying more than one condition
Thank you for your question, my name is Richard.

Unless you use a Macro, you need to put the actual formula in the cell you want to replace for.

So if you want C1 to be A if A1 is Blue, or B if it is not, then you put in C1

=IF(A1="Blue", "A", "B")

Is this what you are trying to achieve?

If not, can you provide some more detail please?

Thank you

ok, this needs to be a Macro, not a formula

I have written the Macro for you

Download the sheet from my link below

On Sheet B you see the button to run the Macro

You did exactly what I need.

How I can read the content of Macro?

Press ALT + F11

This opens the developer (Visual Basic) Window

Double click on Sheet 2 and you see it there.

Thanks a lot.

I may use this small Macro for different excel data basis after making changes in mthis small program (Macro) as per my requirements.

To do this what kaind of basic program I need and How I open that utility and how I save that Macro after modifications...

You do it all within Excel, no extra programs needed.

You press ALT + F11

It opens the visual basic in Excel

And you can then write your Macro, or copy mine and paste it there.

Nothing extra is needed.
