I created a page in word to be printed for 40 members to paste

This answer was rated:

I created a page in word to be printed for 40 members to paste on their books. I have their names in a separate list. I would like to print this page 40 times but each time with a new name. Is there a way of getting this done without having to put the new name on the page by hand. e.g. run though list of names and print page each time. I have the same issue with a power point designed page.

Thank you for your question, my name is Richard.

Can you tell me please which version of Office you are using?

Thank you

Windows 7, professional - Office 2007. Will be upgrading Office but not sure when.

What you need to do is a Mail Merge

This will allow you to cycle through the names of all the people, within the document, as it is printing, so you get the same document, but with a different name at the top.

the first step you need to do is to put all the names in a column in Excel.

So put them all in Column A.

Then in Word, follow the steps on this link below to perform the Mail Merge.

follow the instructions, and use your own field (the name) in your document.

This will allow you to achieve what you need to do.

If you have any difficulties at all, please do not hesitate to let me know so I can assist you further
