Ok the repair click completed click repair and will take a while and look its not responding , then will say repair complete untick the box make a back up copy of the file

the repair tool is complete

unrick the box make a back up copy of the and click Repair

It will take a while and look like not responding

but in the end it will say repair completed

its still downloading all the mail and i cant change the inbox to UCG inbox. so I don't know if this makes a difference

You need to make a New Default Pst file

as yours is 19G and getting to big

You need to make a new Default Pst file

Do this

close Outlook

click Start >Control Panel> mail Click profiles >Properties >Data Files >Add Call it whatever you wish

It will show in the list of Outlook Data file highlight it and click make Default and then Start Outlook again

would this require me to re download all my emails for all my accounts again. or is this file just for the mail account that is affected.

If they are POP accounts it will re-download the mail, if you have Webmail for the Accounts , -

Log in using Webmail make a new folder called Saved

move the Mail from the inbox to the Saved Folder then then there will no Email to download
