In a MS Word 2010 document, how can we create a date calculated

Customer Question

In a MS Word 2010 document, how can we create a date calculated field that will automatically determine the date of a certain period? For example in many cases we need the last day of the previous month. In other cases we need the date to reflect an end date of a certain period of time like Jan-May of a calendar year or a calendar year end date.
