I have new data and I tried to put it in the spreadsheet that yagerboy did.

Seems to be working fine. Are you creating a button to put the code in? This code only works with a button.

If you are not familiar, under the Developer tab (2007/2010/2013), click Insert and choose the very first item (Button under Form Controls). Drag out a button. A dialog will appear. Click New. Paste ALL of the code provided from the other workbook and paste it in. Close that window and click the button.

Let me know if you have any questions.

Brandon

Hi Brandon,

I've never done anything with macros. I had to add the Developer button. I have Excel 2010. I can't seem to drag or insert the button?

Expert:  Brandon M. replied 3 years ago.
No problem. Here are some screenshots to help:

Now, if you do not know how to get the old code, simply open the old document up, under the Developer tab, click Visual Basic (first button). That is the code.

Hope this helps. Let me know if you need further clarification or anything else.

Brandon

When I click on or try to drag that button, I do not see your next screenshot. I am wondering if I have to reload a disk and do add ons or something because that button does not seem to work?

Expert:  Brandon M. replied 3 years ago.
Ah, sorry. I don't think I was clear about the button. Once you click the button icon (3), move your mouse onto the spreadsheet and drag a box. Once you let go, you will be given that dialog box. I can record a short video if you need.
Customer: replied 3 years ago.

Hi Brandon, I know how to drag but it wouldn't let me.

Since then the spreadheet has been fixed by the person (another expert there) who originated it.

Thanks for your attempt to help.

No problem. Glad to hear you got it fixed.
