When I click on "Open" in Excel, I would like for it to go

This answer was rated:

When I click on "Open" in Excel, I would like for it to go directly to the Desktop, not Documents or anything else, causing me to have to click over to the desktop icon. Is there a way to make it so when you click "Open" it goes directly to desktop?
Hi! My name is XXXXX XXXXX I will be assisting you,

Which year of Excel do you have?
Customer: replied 4 years ago.

Excel 2010

Open Excel

Click on File then Options

Click on Save -- Under Default File Location -- Change it from Documents(or My documents) to Desktop

For example: Mine says C:\Users\Josh\Desktop

Click on OK

Now click on Open and it will default to your desktop instead of documents.
