When are you receiving this error? Are you attempting to install office 2003?

Also can you let me know for sure which version of windows you are using?

To find out hold down the windows key on the keyboard and press R and a box will pop up. Type winver in the box and press enter to see which version you are using.

Ok does yours have a screen that looks like the picture below?

Also when did you get the computer, if it is new there is a good chance it has windows 8.

Please tell me when you are receiving the error, are you trying to install office?

its older windows 6 i think and i can't type with out having to get rid of all the pop ups and canceling them

Ok there is no windows 6 so please try the following.

Click this link in a box on the top left it will tell you which version of windows you are using under where it says operating system.
