Excel 2007 question.
I have a workbook that I was given and it has a data validation list for the drop down but I can't find when the list is pulling from. Need help.
Thank you for your question, my name is Richard.

Can I look at the file please?

- Click the following link:
- Upload the file to that website
- Once it is uploaded, the resulting page will display a "File ID" number.
- Please, give me that "File ID Number"

Thank you

Thanks Charles.

It is using the Data Validation function Weeks to display all Weeks.

It is not looking this up anywhere

You can see this by clicking on it, then click on the Data Tab and click Data Validation.

In Settings you see its source as =weeks

It uses this function to display in the lists the date at the start of each week.

If you have continued problems, or would like any additional information or assistance, please do not hesitate to let me know.

And if you can take a second to rate my service, that would be greatly appreciated.

How come it stops at 5/52013, I need it to go at least to the end of the year?

Customer: replied 4 years ago.

Also it shows ='Data Validation Lists'!$A$2:$A$72 don't that mean that is is pulling with in that range but I don't see anything?

Where is

='Data Validation Lists'!$A$2:$A$72

As when you click on the Cell and click Data Validation you see it in the source. It is going to go two weeks before today.

Press CTRL+ F3 and you will see weeks and then the string.

Found it, it is hidden

Right click on on the All Projects Tab, click Unhide and you see the sheet it is using via the function.

If you have any difficulties at all, please do not hesitate to let me know so I can assist you further
