Microsoft Office Questions? Ask a IT Expert for Support ASAP
Hello and thank you for your question today. My name isXXXXX look forward to helping you today.
You can do this very simply with the VLOOKUP function.
You can place the following formula in the 2nd sheet, in F2: =VLOOKUP(B2,Sheet1!A:E,5,FALSE)Then copy F2 and paste it into the F column (F3 down to the bottom)
That formula above is assuming that the first sheet is called Sheet1
Does that make sense?
I am putting together a test example for you now.
Here is that document displaying my example: http://wikisend.com/download/517140/IHave2worksheets.xls
You will see the formulas on Sheet2
I look forward to your next message or your rating below.
Thank you again, - Jason
Is that working for you?
