Can you elaborate a bit? Are you trying to try to limit what loads when you start your computer or something else?

Customer:

At present when i start up my laptop it auto loads bbc i-player and some software called spotify. I don't want either of these to autoload

ok great heres how you fix that

ChrisC :

Go to the start menu and choose all programs\ accessories\ and choose run

ChrisC :

in the run box type

ChrisC :

Msconfig

ChrisC :

You will get a new window

ChrisC :

In thsi window click on the startup tab

ChrisC :

Then all you have to do is locate the checkbox next to the programs you dont want to load at startup

ChrisC :

After you uncheck them hit apply and ok

ChrisC :

then restart the computer

ChrisC :

Once you restart they will be gone!

ChrisC :

Youll get a box saying you have used selective startup

ChrisC :

Just click the box saying "Dont show me this again"

ChrisC :

Great thanks. I do have one other question. I keep changing internet ioptions in windows explorer to www.google.com but it keeps going back to some obscure thing
