This answer was rated:

I purchased a disk for Access 2010 on Wednesday, 31 October.
When I attempted to install the program it seems to have been blocked by Office 2010 Home & Student.
Please advise as to what I need to do.

Jason :

Greetings,

Thank you for your question and your time today.

My name is Jason and I will be the expert working with you today to help resolve your problem.

Jason :

May I ask, what occurs when you attempt to open Office 2010 Home & Student?

Customer:

I haven't opened Office 2010, per se. I frequently open Excel and Word directly, not through MS Office 2010.

Jason :

Thank you for the update.

May I please, remote into your computer so that I can better help you resolve this problem?

Customer:

Yes

Jason :

Thank you.

Instructions for running the remote application:
- If you are using Internet Explorer, choose to RUN the application.
- If you are using Firefox or Safari, please, open the Downloads window and double click the Elsinore... application.
- If you are using Google Chrome, please, click the Elsinore... button on the bottom left of your screen after it downloads.

Please, click the following link and allow the remote app to run: http://67.192.95.188:8040/?Session=36c4fc70-c8b2-46ad-91d9-c7eac18a4634&SUPPORT=NET

Jason :

Are you having any problems with running that remote application after it is downloaded?

Which Internet browser are you currently using (Internet Explorer, Firefox, Safari, or something of the like)?

Customer:

It will not download...none of the four options.

Jason :

What does that mean? "How" does it not download?

Customer:

Google Chrome

Customer:

To answer "How" does it not download. It does not open the computer,I guess.

Jason :

Thank you for the update.

Jason :

Okay

Jason :

Please, try once more. After the app downloads, you will see a button on the bottom left of your screen that says, "Elsinore...."

Jason :

Please, click the Elsinore.... button and allow it to run.

Customer:

I'l try again.

Jason :

Thank you.
