Hi Lindi,

Yes, I'm still suffering the MS Office 2010 plug-in problem.... unable to use Office Web-Apps documents to open MS Word for editing because the Office Word Apps are unable to find the MSO plug-in!

Hi! Thanks for your reply.

Error response when I use IE8 (64bit) v8.0.7601.17514:

"We are unable to detect Microsoft Word on your computer."

....I hasten to add that the MSWord plug-in failure I'm experiencing is new - and I have been able to open MSWord from Office2010 perfectly well in the past....

Any thoughts?

ok, to check, you have Office 2010 installed? This is needed?

If so, you may have installed it incorrectly, can you therefore follow these instructions please

Save all work, and then close all programs.

In Control Panel, open Programs and Features to see a list of installed programs.

Click Microsoft Office Click-To-Run 2010, and then click Uninstall.

To remove Microsoft Office Click-to-Run, click Yes.

Go to the Microsoft Office alternative fulfillment page.
( )

Click My account.

Click Download, and then click Advanced options.

Follow the instructions.

To install the MSI-based Microsoft Office edition, run SingleImage.exe.

When prompted, type your Product Key to continue.

Once done, restart the computer and test

Please let me know if you still have the problem
