My gmail account was working fine until an hour ago. I now log onto "gmail" and it says "page cannot be found" -- there is no option to type in a code name, or anything -- just that "page cannot be found" message.

What do I do?

Please try this first: click Start->All programs->Accessories->System Tools->System Restore and restore the computer to any date before this issue has occurred.


If that does not work, please reset the hosts file:
; click on the Fix it icon to download and run the automatic fix.

Please reset Internet Explorer:
  1. Close all Internet Explorer windows and folders.
  2. Click Start , and then click Control Panel.
  3. Open Network and Internet if available, open Internet Options. Then click on Delete and delete everything.
  4. Click the Advanced tab, and then click Reset.
  5. In the Reset Internet Explorer Settings dialog box, click Reset.
  6. Then check.
