Using Word2010 to set up a mailmerge to print labels from my Outlook2010 contacts list - everytime I try to choose the Outlook folder (to select recipients) Word stops working. It says it is trying to find a solution but nothing happens. I have tried re-booting, having Outlook both open and closed, and I have tried both using and not using the mail merge wizard.

there can be a lot of reasons for that. If you just want to get some labels out every once in a while it would be a whole lot faster and easier to do a work around.

In outlook

go to file / import and export

export to a file

comma seperated values windows ( csv file)

select the contacts folder that you want

save the file in my documents remember the name

in word select recipients

use existing list

browse to the csv file that you saved above
