I created a document in Word, which I saved. I have a fax modem, by which I want to send it. The document was saved as "docx" but my program is stating that it has to be sent as a "tif" file. How do i change the document from "docx" to "tif"? Thank you
Hello and thank you for using Just Answer.

There are a number of ways to accomplish this. First if you happen to have adobe acrobat you can convert the docx file to a pdf. Then you can open the pdf in abode which has the option to save as tif.

Just open the PDF and choose File--Save As and choose Tiff.

Another way is through a free online document converter such as this

On that site you simply upload your file and choose what you wanted it converted too and within a few minutes you receive an email with your converted file.

If you need more options or have any problems please let me know.

Thank You

"Tif" is not an option from the drop down menu at Zamzar. I need something else.
