I have a Win XP compute with Office 2003. All of a sudden,

Resolved Question:

I have a Win XP compute with Office 2003. All of a sudden, I cannot "save as"..its missing from the File > menu. I've reinstalled Office, remade my windows profile (i'm on a network at home). Any ideas? should I delete the normal.dot and restart?

in outlook go to --> Tools - Customize - Commands. With Categories set on File, find Save as in
the list of commands and drag it up to the File menu.

Hi John,

 

We don't use Outlook here and it's not installed on our machines. Howevr, I was able to open Word and go to Customize and move Save over. Thnks
