"Values" pastes the fixed result of the formula. It does not paste the formula itself
"Transpose" changes the orientation of the selected text and pastes it in the other orientation (from vertical to horizontal and vice versa)

Regular paste pastes the formula itself (so you will have a formula in the new cell), while paste value pastes only the result of the formula (you will have only a value in the new cell).
