Customer Question
Every once in awhile...

Every once in awhile when I leave a stop sign and get up to 30 mph it feels like your driving on a wash board. I had new rotors and calipers put on thought the brakes were sticking it is just on the passenger side

Mechanic's Assistant: How old are the brakes? How many miles on the car?

Brakes on the front two weeks old and there 130,000 on the car wheel bearing were replaced at 95,000

Mechanic's Assistant: Are you fixing your 9-5 yourself? What have you tried so far?

No I take it to a repair shop and new rotors and calipers on the front with brakes 2 weeks ago

Mechanic's Assistant: Anything else you want the mechanic to know before I connect you?

There was a dead deer in the road that I could not avoid do to on coming traffic

The problem is going to be internal to the transmission. You have a solenoid inside the transmission that is sticking or a bad clutch for the gear you are going into. If you let off of gas or go rear slow up to the same speed does the shudder get less?

Have a transmission shop road test the vehicle to verify the transmission needs repair and quote needed repairs.

"I hope that helps! My goal is your satisfaction today. If you feel I've been professional and helpful, your 5-star rating at this time is most appreciated. However, if you still need my help, you can hold off on the rating for now and reply back here -- I'll respond as soon as possible! Thank you"
