Customer Question

I have a 1997 mercury grand marquis safety edition. Is there a difference in ball joint style compared to a stand suspension.

The ball joints are all the same for all Crown Vics and Grand Marquis for 1997. If the alignment is still out of specs, you should have the control arms and spindles inspected to make sure they are not worn also. There are bushings in the control arms that can wear and cause the alignment to be out of specs.
