What did the fluid look like? Was it cherry red or was it a black color? What gear is slipping out of gear?

Customer: replied 11 months ago.
Fluid was cherry its like when you turn a corner an get back on thee accelerator its not there I either have to let it slow way down or give it a quick hard step on accelerator and it will jump back in gear and also when i back up and go back to drive it takes a minute for it to hit gear

Have you replaced the filter in the transmission?

Customer: replied 11 months ago.
yep
Expert:  kalamykid replied 11 months ago.

Did you have this problem before the filter was changed?

Customer: replied 11 months ago.
When it started that's the first thing i did was change my filter was gonna change the modjulator but its not like on thee older models so i dont know where to go from there

If this problem only happens after you make a turn, then the filter is leaking where it goes into the valve body, or the fluid level is low. How are you checking the fluid level? Do you have the car running when you check it?

Can you add 3/4 of a quart and test drive it and see if the problem is still there?

Customer: replied 11 months ago.
Kind of over full now
Expert:  kalamykid replied 11 months ago.

How over full is it?

Customer: replied 11 months ago.
Not much at all
Expert:  kalamykid replied 11 months ago.

Around 1/4 or 1/2 quart?

Customer: replied 11 months ago.
1\4
Expert:  kalamykid replied 11 months ago.

OK then please add 3/4 of a quart and test drive it and see if it still slips out of gear please. I want the fluid level high enough so if the filter is leaking at the seal at the valve body it can not suck air.

Ok

Thank you.
