Customer Question

Interior lights above mirror will not turn off.
JA: Have you checked the fuses? Have you checked the bulbs?
Customer: No, I have not checked fuses. I usually do not turn on and they are always off.
JA: What is the model/year of your Mercury?
Customer: 2005 Mercury Monteago
JA: Are you hoping to fix this yourself? What have you tried so far?
Customer: Pushing the buttons on either side of the overhead console. The Owners Manual tells how to turn them on but not off.
JA: Anything else you think the mechanic should know?
Customer: They were off yesterday and ran an errand tonight and all of sudden they were on and could not figure out how to turn off.
JA: OK. Got it. I'm sending you to a secure page on JustAnswer so you can place the $5 fully-refundable deposit now. While you're filling out that form, I'll tell the Mercury Mechanic about your situation and then connect you two.
