Mercury Milan Premier: I have a 2007 Mercury Milan. The drivers

Customer Question

I have a 2007 Mercury Milan. The drivers side window goes down but only comes up about an inch. I tested the motor and it draws about 1 amp @ 12 Volts and -12 volts. When I disconnect the motor I get +12 v moving the switch in one direction, but only about 7 volts in the other direction. Bad switch?

I sounds like it But try unplugging the window motor and swap the wires in the connector and see if it has the same problem, but in the opposite direction. If it does, the yes to the switch.

A small pick or a paper clip straightened out will work.
