Customer Question

My service engine soon light has been on for the last week or two. This morning driving to work, it kept blinking.

If it is blinking then the pcm is detecting a serious problem with the engine that can cause a driveablity problem.Like a cylinder miss firing.Stop at an auto parts store and have the check engine light checked. Most auto parts store will do that for free.
