Hi. I've identified where...

Hi. I've identified where a parasitic drain is coming from on my 2005 Mercedes e320 (base model). The drain was identified to be coming from where the pink colored fuse holder is located in the photos found on this web page. I'm trying to identify which item in this circuit could be causing the drain. I believe it's likely a relay, but I'm not sure.

Mechanic's Assistant: How many miles are on the car? Has the car been starting normally?

95,000 miles. Yes. But the last several days it has been draining over night.

Mechanic's Assistant: Are you fixing your E320 yourself? What have you tried so far?

Yes. I detected a 2.70 amp drain coming from the battery. Then determined (with a voltmeter, millivolt scale) where the offending drain was potentially located.

Mechanic's Assistant: Anything else you want the mechanic to know before I connect you?

The fuse located in the rear battery fuse box, where the pink holder is shown to be in the pictures on this web page.
