Is the mifire worse when engine is cold, warmed up or does not matter?
Any recent repairs done or vehicle overheated recently?

The symptom you are experiencing can be caused by a tune up due, faulty ignition coil or vacuum leak.
If it happened out of the blue could be a faulty coil, vacuum leak or low fuel pressure. Once you read the codes, it will give a little idea which system to check
A clogged fuel filter or a faulty fuel pump.
