check engine light and only drives in power safe seems like turbo not working
JA: Does the light stay on, or does it blink?
Customer: stays on it did go off for a couple days then came back
JA: What year is your Turbo?
Customer: 2012
JA: Are you fixing your Turbo yourself? What have you tried so far?
Customer: I haven't tried anything yet
JA: Anything else you want the mechanic to know before I connect you?
Customer: when the it started going into power safe I would stop the motor restart and it would work but now that's not working

Okay, the first thing we need to do is scan the computer for codes and data to find out why we're in limp mode.

most parts stores will read codes for you for free.

The problem with a code reader is that it does not supply us with the data we need. Some parts stores will loan you this tool too, for a deposit.

Please understand that I don't know your skill level or tools you
have to assist us. Also understand that I can't see, smell, hear, or
touch the vehicle either, so your patience is appreciated. JA is a
great Q/A site, but it does not replace a repair shop. So please
don’t shoot the messenger if I have to deliver bad news:)
