Hi, my name is***** timing chain is never serviced as a maintenance item on the M119 engine. As long as there are no noises coming from the timing chain you have nothing to worry about. The chain rarely fails on this motor. What fails are the plastic chain guide rails. If they fail you will get a clattering noise on start up from the chain area. If all is quiet you should not do anything.

Let me know if you have any questions.
