Hello what was your question?
Customer: replied 9 months ago.
Replaced old battery and new alternator and belt. Drove the car for 1/4 mile and all the instrument lights came on and car died. Wouldn't restart. No sound of click when attempting to restart the car from engine. 2 days later I decided to do another try. At first attempt the slr light came on and no engine turn over. Second one nothing. By the 4th attempt the engine cranked and started... haven't dared to drive it any distance in fear of the car dying again. What's going on

Let me do some checking I know that a lot of Mercedes take some time to relearn necessary running information after the battery is disconnected which could have caused this.

I have found some information for you issue, a common cause for this problem would be the turn signal flasher relay. The relay is located under the center console taped to the wiring harness. Give me just a second and I will get the part number for you.
