Customer Question

Well my lumbar support is not working, both sides, and the passenger door lock does not go up or down when I press the lock/unlock lever on the dash. Other door locks, trunk lock closer is ok, and door closers are ok. I have a 1997 S420 with 111K miles on it. Thank you.
JA: Is this your first time dealing with this issue?
Customer: Yes, it worked fine a short while ago.
JA: Are you fixing your S420 yourself? What have you tried so far?
Customer: I will try and fix myself. I have done nothing yet.
JA: Anything else you want the mechanic to know before I connect you?
Customer: No I think that is it.

Let me look that up tonight on my s420 service manual cd

Just disconnect the negative battery cable for a few minutes then reconnect it and see if the door works. Dial the lumbars down to zero for now.
