Trying to find the resister pack on my 1984 300SD. I get 3.5

Customer Question

trying to find the resister pack on my 1984 300SD. I get 3.5 volts out of the blower controller to the resistor pack but nothing back.
JA: Have you checked all the fuses? Do you have a wiring diagram?
Customer: yes. fuses are good ( 10 & 11 ). I have a wiring diagram
JA: Are you fixing your 300SD yourself? What have you tried so far?
Customer: Checked fuses, ok checked voltage from the blower switch to the controller 13 volts
JA: Anything else you want the mechanic to know before I connect you?
Customer: put 12 volts on the fan & it runs fine. I want to check th resistor pack but I can't find it

The Resistor is located inside the Blower Control Unit that also contains the Fan

The diagrams are straight out of the Mercedes Factory Service Manual & clarity may be an issue
