auxiliary fans are not running at full speed or long enough and a/c stops working. it has new pressure sensor and the system is appropriately charged with Freon.

Hello and welcome to JustAnswer!

If the cooling fans are turning off and a/c high side pressure is climbing until vent temp warms up it could be a fan control issue, a fan motor failure, or it may not be seeing a correct high side pressure reading. If it doesn't know pressure is high then it can't run the fans.

Has any actual testing been done?
