Hello and welcome to JustAnswer!

I suspect you may just be hearing the cooling fan if the noise continues for a bit after you stop. I doubt the noise is related to the suspension system, especially if it's described as a roaring sound. A roaring sound that's actually coming from the engine compartment is most likely air noise from high cooling fan speed.

How long have you had the vehicle?

Are you using the a/c when you hear this?

I just purchased and the problem exist with or without the air working. The noise gets louder upon acceleration. The car runs smoothly and rides great. The noise sound like a whining pump.

If you've just purchased it then you may be hearing a normal noise.

The noise is coming from the engine compartment for sure?

Customer: replied 12 months ago.
This noise is a little more than a fan. The problem has been diagnosed as a possible air suspension pump problem. Thanks for trying.
