my 2008 smart has 110,000 miles, has recently started to smoke badly. Gets worse as the car gets warm. Compression is 95 across the line.

Hello and welcome to Justanswer!Unfortunately the smoking is most likely related to the low compression. The minimum compression spec for this engine is 160 PSI.It's possible that the low compression is due to valve leakage but that wouldn't explain smoking. I'm assuming it's oil smoke you're seeing and are using some oil.Have you tried a wet compression test to see if the numbers would increase?
