Customer Question

I have a '95 Mercedes 140 coupe with a 119.970 (5.0) engine. I am doing a "top end overhaul" and could use some info. installing the heads. Do the cam sprockets need to come off? More specifically the cam advance units on the intake cams.

I'd leave the cam advance / actuator units on the front of the cams as you should be able to lift the cams out with them attached

and attached is the torque pattern for the heads
