The fault code is for the left crankshaft position sensor. There is another crankshaft sensor for the right bank but your fault code is for the left side. This particular V-12 engine may start up and run only on one bank of cylinders very smoothly. It will just be very underpowered such as in your case. I can make a strong point that your left bank of cylinders is not even running due to the faulty left crankshaft position sensor. The sensor is located in the very back of the engine, where the engine meets the transmission. It is a little difficult to get to on this model.
