Hi, I'm not sure that I understand the question. Were the jumper cables hooked up backwards to the battery? Does the car start and run?

Hello and yes as runs fine alls well but speedometer not working abs light on and trip odometer not working and of course the e2 on the radio

I'm not sure what all happened .the car was fine someone left the trunk open the car sat almost three weeks . they tryed to start it no power . after the not so brite folks found the battery that pulled there Honda passport up cabeled up and after a few.attempts they got.it started and it was returned to me. No trip odometer radio flashing e2 when turned on abs lite.stays on speedometer not working. Help help help

Ok, I suspect they reversed the jumper cables in their attempts to start the car. We need to start by checking the fuses in the base module. The module is located in the module box under the hood on the passenger side. You will need to remove the cover on the box and look for the module with the fuses pushed into the top of the module. Check and replace any blown fuses in the module. Let me know if that gets your speedometer and ABS lights squared away. Copy and paste the link below for the location.

We are proud owners of a 1990 560 SEL, W-126 sedan, with only 57,840 miles on it. It has always been garaged, and is in very excellent "showroom" condition structurally and mechanically /no rust anywhere. Here is the problem: Cold starting is very difficult, requiring multiple, lengthy starting cycles, with the accelerator pressed to the floor, resulting in a very rough start, which soon settles into a stable, smooth idle of approx. 750rpm. Hot re-starts are no problem, as loon as they occur with shutdown time not exceeding one hour.On the open road and in local driving, the engine is very responsive, powerful, and smooth, with no hesitation. Spark plugs and ignition wires are new. Injectors and injector seals are new.
