Diagnostics Engineer :

Hello,

Customer:

Hi

Diagnostics Engineer :

I will post the instructions for you in few minutes

Customer:

thank you very much.

Diagnostics Engineer :

Let me know if you need further help.
Best Regards,
Stan

Customer:

thanks stan. i'll go and try it out now in our shop, i'll be a few minutes

Customer:

that worked brilliantly, thank you very much. can i ask another question? my indicator on the RHS flashes double time but no bulbs out. works ok on hazards though

Diagnostics Engineer :

This would indicate that either one of the bulbs consumes incorrect amperage (both too much or too low). Sometimes, after replacing the bulb, to reset the electronics- van must be closed and left locked for 15 minutes.

Diagnostics Engineer :

But please also check that all additional turn signals are ok as well

Customer:

and one final one, i have a door open sensor on the drivers door that doesn't work, silly question but where is it as i have searched and can't see it!

Customer:

i'll look into the indicator fault later, i was just looking for some advice rather than a detailedcause!

Customer:

any hint as to the location? i can replace it if a know where it is!

Diagnostics Engineer :

As i remember, it is part of the door lock

Customer:

that would explain why i can't see it!

Diagnostics Engineer :

you can confirm that by switching the lock's latch with a screwdriver

Customer:

tried that on passenger door which works and it didnt show door closed

Diagnostics Engineer :

have you pushed the latch in from the outside to full stop?

Customer:

i just tried it now and it is in the latch. is it a replaceable sender or a whole unit?

Switches are not available separately. But by adjusting the striker, you might be able to get the last juices out of the latch.
Thanks for the accept,
Regards,
Stan
