1995 mercedes E320: ac fans not working replaced fan..relay

1995 mercedes E320 -ac fans not working replaced fan. still won't work checked fueses their good. checked relay good. unpluged temp sending unit fan runs for a couple of seconds then blows relayfuse.

Hi, can you clarify for me which fuse is blowing? Can you tell me it's location?

The fan relay has a fuse that plugs in the top of it. This is the one!!!

Did you install a new or used fan?

eurotec :

The fuse in the relay is for the fan only. If that fuse is blowing either your fan is drawing too much current or your fan wiring is shorted to ground somewhere. If the fuse does not blow with the fan unplugged then I suspect your fan is no good or the fuse is too small. It should be a 30 amp fuse in the relay.
